The Latin American singer and actress, Natalia Oreiro, decided to obtain Russian citizenship and has already filled out the necessary documents at the embassy. She noted that she has so many connections with Russia that she was asked if she would like to make the connection official, TASS reports.
Natalia said that her application for citizenship is currently being considered. The actress clarified that this idea was voiced a year ago in the programme “Evening Urgant”, in which the host called her the most Russian among foreigners. She explained that this was said for fun, and not as a request, but then she realised she would really like to receive Russian citizenship.
