The National Space Centre will be opened on the territory of the Khrunichev Plant in Moscow in 2023, the press service of the Moscow Complex of Urban Planning Policy reports with reference to the Deputy General Director for Construction of Civil Facilities of Mosinzhproekt JSC Tagir Galimov.

According to Galimov, the construction and installation work will be completed by the end of 2022 and the complex should be opened in 2023. Currently, about 720 people work at the site, and in the future, their number will be increased. By now, work is being completed at the zero level of the foundation. It is also specified that the headquarters of Roskosmos and a technopark with aviation and space industries will be located there. It is noted that the National Space Centre, worth about 25 billion rubles, will be built at the expense of the Moscow city’s budget.
