In 2020, several new car models will be presented in Russia for the first time, Gazeta.ru reports. For example, Volkswagen plans to launch a new generation of Jetta and Polo sedans on the Russian market in June and July.
Skoda will introduce three new models (Karoq crossover, sedans Rapid, and Octavia). Closer to summer, Renault will introduce the new generation of the Kaptur crossover. In December, Mitsubishi has scheduled the start of sales of the restyled version of the Pajero Sport SUV, and Subaru will debut the updated crossover XV. In June, Kia will start selling the new Kia XCeed crossover, and Hyundai is preparing an updated version of the Creta crossover in the first half of the year.
Audi should have compact crossovers Q3 and Q2 within a year. In the first half of the year, Porsche will deliver Boxster and Cayman in the GTS 4.0 version to Russia. The electric Porsche Taycan will be shown by the end of the year. BWM is preparing for the summer sports coupe M2 CS. In May, the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Transfer Plus minibus will enter the Russian market. Land Rover is currently working on a new generation of Defender, which should be presented in the autumn.
