For pensioners of the Moscow region, a minimum subsistence level was set for 2021, Moscow Region Today reports. For this, the law was adopted on the establishment of a living wage (10,107 rubles) which is 600 rubles more than the average one in Russia.
It is noted that the adopted law is aimed at supporting the most unprotected layers of citizens, which include non-working pensioners. Also, the Moscow Region parliament has established the amount of social security payments for pensions (2.5 thousand rubles per person). It is expected that about 160 thousand pensioners will receive it.
