The Omsk region received co-financing from the federal budget for the purchase of new buses. The subsidy is allocated due to participation in the national project “Safe and High-Quality Roads”, the press service of the Omsk city hall reports.

The new VOLGABUS CityRhythm buses are completely low-floor. They have a comfortable interior, run on natural gas (methane) which ensures their economy and environmental friendliness, and cost 12.4 billion rubles. It is also specified that the transport has 28 seats, with a total capacity of 111 people.
The new transport will arrive in Omsk before the beginning of next year. The buses will take the route, which is planned to be made the main one. It will work from 6 am to 11 pm, and the interval of movement will be no more than 10 minutes. It is noted that 60 per cent of the total cost of transport will be allocated from the federal budget.
