According to the Head, the choice of location is due to several factors. Firstly, tourism is rather poorly developed in the west of the republic in comparison with the southern coast, and secondly, the least demand has led to the fact that there is a lot of free land in the Saki district, which will reduce the cost of construction and give more alternatives for choosing suitable sites.

Aksenov also noted that the city will be “compact” in terms of population. According to the plan, the number of residents is about 10 thousand people. The hotel sector of the resort will consist mainly of hotels and flats with a total volume of 10 thousand rooms.

The Head of Crimea specified that major players of the hotel and tourist markets have already shown their interest in the project. At the moment, a feasibility study of the upcoming construction is underway. The resort itself is planned to be presented to business and the public in the near future.
