Specialists of the Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamaleya have developed a new test system that allows determining the stage of the COVID-19, TASS reports.
This test reveals specific human immunity which makes it possible to determine the stage of the disease and select potential plasma donors from among those who have already been ill for the treatment of patients who have become infected with the coronavirus. It is noted that Russia has already managed to develop and establish the production of several test systems for the diagnosis of COVID-19.
