The New Year came to the Veles Wildlife Quarantine Center with the Christmas trees that were already out of use. Trees were chopped to the sawdust and scattered around the aviaries.
One of the first rugs from Christmas tree needles and branches was appreciated by bears. Judging by the video published on January 10 bears like the smell and texture. They immediately began to wallow in the needles and stick their noses in them.
In Veles, they said that chips are brought in as part of the campaign to collect and process Christmas trees, in which the centre has been participating for the fifth time. Sawdust becomes a sanitary bed for pets.
