Nissan Qashqai Became Brand’s Bestseller in Russia

Russian dealers of Nissan sold 4,750 vehicles in February 2021. According to the results of the first two months of 2021, 8,022 Nissan cars were sold in the country, the Autostat analytical agency reported.  

As a result, Nissan ranked eighth in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand’s market share was 3.7 per cent versus 4.9 per cent a year earlier. Nissan’s bestseller on the Russian market in February 2021 was the Nissan Qashqai crossover, the sales of which totalled 1,968 cars. The second place was taken by Nissan X-Trail with an indicator of 1,753 cars sold.

It is expected that at the end of 2021, a new generation mid-size SUV Nissan Pathfinder will appear on the Russian market, which will be supplied by import. Another novelty will be the new generation Qashqai crossover, whose European premiere took place in February this year. In addition, Nissan is considering the possibility of a next-generation Patrol SUV appearance in Russia.
