A new composition called “The Noah’s Ark” has appeared in the Ice Cave of the Moscow Zaryadye Park, TASS reported. The work was carried out by the nominee for the I Moscow Art Prize, Russian artist Maxim Kharlov.
The composition is made from the ribs of the old dome, thrown out during the repair of one of the Moscow churches. It is noted that the author turned them into an art object, preserving the original texture of the tree, iron fragments, and fasteners. The exhibit is located in the Ice Cave of Zaryadye Park on a special platform covered with frost and ice. It is specified that the Ark was exhibited in many other museums in Russia, including the Tretyakov Gallery and the ZIL Cultural Centre.
