Enterprises of the Novgorod region in the first 5 months of 2021 exported products worth $744.4 million, which is 48.3 per cent more compared to the same period last year, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Minister of Economic Development of the country Maxim Reshetnikov.
“The implementation of the instruments of the Regional Export Standard has been completed by almost 70 per cent out of 100 per cent. We have taken into account the needs of our exporters in professional development programmes. The idea of creating an exporters club – a platform for open communication between exporters and officials, representatives of departments, including federal ones, was born,” the Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region, Denis Nosachev, noted.
According to the Director of the Novgorod Export Support Centre, Tatyana Lavrentieva, support for exporters is becoming complex.
“We offer entrepreneurs the so-called ‘box solutions’, developed for typical situations that arise in doing business. The centre has 9 types of complex services, each of which includes from 6 to 13 directions,” she said.
In turn, the Director for the Regional Project of the REC JSC (Russian Export Centre), Natalya Minaeva, stressed that joint work with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has a positive effect on the results of the work of Export Support Centres.
"Thanks to the export support programme, we have placed our products on two sites: Amazon and Etsy. And we have already sent our chairs to America, Canada, England, Italy, Sweden, Kazakhstan and other countries. We plan to further actively develop the export direction in our company," a resident of the X10 technopark of the ZANOZA company, Anastasia Gerasimova, said."The Export Centre placed my products on the Alibaba marketplace and, thus, I found partners in Germany and Saudi Arabia. So far, trial batches have gone to these countries, but I hope that there are large contracts ahead," an entrepreneur of the Novgorod region, Ekaterina Voronkova, said.
