In the Novosibirsk region, a beauty contest was held among the employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Ladies were assessed by accuracy in shooting, talents and skills, as well as their outfits; there was a pistol shooting, a set of strength exercises, and a test for knowledge of the laws, VN.ru reports. The winner of the regional stage of the competition will represent the Novosibirsk region at the all-Russian final.
“We wanted to show that our criminal system is not only male officers who stand and guard but also there are women in our system, beautiful and lovely. They are reliable and do their duty in the right way. Our girls work in those positions where attention and vigilance are needed. Of course, they work equally with our men,” the head of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service for the Novosibirsk Region, Andrey Popeto, said.
The first contest was to tell creatively about their work. Some of the participants made videos, others composed poems, and others made a performance. The second test was the costume contest. Girls put on Russian folk sarafans and sang songs. For the third, dance competition, the girls showed cha-cha-cha, belly dance, and Russian folk and modern dances.
