Andrey Nesterenko and Dmitry Ziganshin escorted a pregnant woman to the maternity hospital, reports VN.RU.
Late in the evening, a man and his wife rushed along Sovetskoye Highway towards Novosibirsk. Suddenly, a woman began giving birth to a baby right along the way. An excited husband called the police with a plea for help.
The traffic police crew consisting of senior police lieutenant Andrey Nesterenko and police lieutenant Dmitry Ziganshin, who patrolled the area nearby, arrived at the call. Assessing the situation, officers decided to deliver the woman in the central hospital.
“By turning on the flashing beacons and the sound of a patrol car, traffic inspectors urgently brought the woman to the hospital,” the regional press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The police left the woman to doctors and returned to work. The man who became dad called the helpline of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, expressed gratitude to the inspectors and wished them success in their work.
