In 2019, the average life expectancy in Russia, according to Russian Statistics Service (Rosstat), was 73.34 years. This indicator became a historic maximum, the press service of the Russian Population Census stated.
In 2020, the expected life expectancy of Russians, according to the average version of the forecast of statisticians, should grow to 73.97 years, and by 2035, to 79.1 years. Updated data will be obtained after the next All-Russian population census, which may take place in 2021. The main innovation of the census will be the possibility of independent filling in by the inhabitants of the country of an electronic census form.
