The JSC Bank “DOM.RF” has extended the preferential mortgage programme for medical workers until the end of 2021, om1 reports. According to it, doctors, nurses and other hospital workers can take out mortgages at a preferential rate of 6.9 per cent. The minimum down payment is also reduced and now it accounts for 10 per cent.
It is noted that this programme to support doctors in the context of the spread of COVID-19 won in the nomination “Best Social Project” as part of the Retail Finance Awards 2020. According to it, doctors can take a mortgage on ready-made housing and flats in new buildings, as well as refinance taken from another bank loan at a rate of 6.9 per cent.
It is specified that under the conditions mentioned above, the rate on a loan for housing under construction will be at least 7.1 per cent, for finished housing from 7.7 per cent. The rates reduced by 0.5 per cent can be used until the end of February 2021 as part of the New Year promotion. The minimum rates are available with an initial payment of 30 per cent of the value of the property.
