Over a thousand applications were submitted by Muscovites for marriage registration in the period from December 25 to December 31, VM.ru reports with reference to the press service of the city registry office.
On Friday and Saturday, December 25 and December 26, in the departments of the registry office and the wedding palaces of Moscow, employees will hold about 600 solemn ceremonies for marriage, including those registrations which will take place at unusual sites. It is specified that on the last day of 2020, 150 couples are going to get married.
In the pre-New Year period, the registry offices will work in the usual mode, from 9 am to 4 pm. Among the unusual sites, the most popular are the Spiridonov Mansion, the Muravyev-Apostol House, the Federation Tower of Moscow City, and the Spartak Stadium.
