In total, the organizers accepted about 6.5 thousand applications from more than 1.7 thousand citizens in such areas as “Fine Arts”, “Art Photography”, “Vocal Art”, “Musical Instrumental Art”, and “Art Word”, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.
It is specified that the most popular nomination was the category “Fine Arts”, for which about 700 people sent more than 3,000 creative works. The most active contestant was 64-year-old Nadezhda Alyamovskaya, who proved that even in old age you can learn to sing, draw, or play music.
It is noted that over 500 applications were submitted for participation in the nominations “Vocal Art” and “Musical Instrumental Art”. The contestants performed compositions in various vocal genres, such as pop, folk, academic vocals, and folklore singing. Also, over 300 applications were accepted in the “Art Word” nomination. For this, Muscovites recorded video postcards, where they read poems and prose by famous authors or their own composition.
