The cargo terminal at Kurumoch Airport handled more than 2 tons of flowers on the eve of International Women’s Day. Among these were tulips, hyacinths, irises, gerberas, and roses, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) reports.
According to experts, most of the flowers arrive by flights from Armenia. The terminal of the Kurumoch Airport handles cargo of all categories allowed for transportation by air, including those that require special temperature conditions, dangerous goods, valuable cargo and live animals.
All flowers pass the control of the Rosselkhoznadzor representatives working at the airport. They are delivered to the recipients within 3 hours after the arrival of the flight. It is also possible to place the cargo for storage in a specially equipped room with controlled temperature.
