Over 200 Christmas Tree Markets Started Operating in Moscow

The Head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services, Aleksey Nemeryuk, announced the opening of 207 Christmas tree bazaars in Moscow today, on December 20, according to the ‘Moscow‘ city news agency. He noted that spruce is traditionally brought from different regions of the country, though the key supplier is the Perm Territory.

It is specified that domestic spruces cost approximately 1,000-1,200 rubles per metre. In addition, the range of bazaars includes pines and imported spruces, which are slightly more expensive. It is also noted that this year Muscovites can order spruce through the Internet without leaving their homes. What is important, at points of sale it is obligatory to wear masks and gloves, as well as to have accompanying documents for spruce.
