Broadcasts of the ‘New Knowledge’ educational marathon on the Internet gained more than 40 million views. More than 300 universities and 20 thousand schools have joined open lessons, TASS reports.
It is specified that during the marathon 176 speakers (scientists, statesmen, top managers of large companies, artists) received more than 21 thousand questions. Videos of lectures, interviews and masterclasses of the marathon speakers are more than 120 hours of content.
The General Director of the society, Maxim Dreval, noted that “New Knowledge” will become an annual event and will expand its audience. First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Sergey Kiriyenko, promised that an extensive pool of lecturers would be formed consisting of about 10 thousand speakers at the federal and regional levels.
It is also reminded that the marathon was held from May 20 to May 22 in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, and Kaliningrad. Each city represented one of the areas of educational activities. The speakers of the marathon were Dmitry Peskov, Sergey Lavrov, Mikhail Mishustin, Elon Musk, Steve Wozniak, Sergei Shoigu, Vladimir Pozner and many others.
