In Moscow, over 40 thousand free tickets for public transport use were received by medical workers and volunteers who are involved in the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, the official website of the Mayor of Moscow reports.
Moscow doctors, nurses, laboratory staff, and volunteers received preferential travel passes. Applications for travel are sent to medical organizations. Then they get the right amount of travel tickets and give them to employees. The Head of the Moscow Department of Transport, Maksim Liksutov, noted that it is important to support those who are fighting with the spread of coronavirus. He also reminded that doctors and volunteers of this category do not need to pay a place in the area of the city paid parking.
