More than 400 orphans received housing in Moscow in 2020, according to the city prosecutor Denis Popov on January 12, which is the Day of the Prosecutor’s Office Worker, TASS reports.
“We are working closely with the city authorities in providing housing for orphans. Last year, Moscow provided housing for more than 400 orphans, another 250 are awaiting inspection warrants,” Popov said.
The Moscow prosecutor noted that the situation with the observance of the rights of minors requires special attention. Thus, prosecutors conduct supervisory support up to the moment children receive the keys to their new flats.
