Experts from the ‘MAXIMUM Education’ educational company conducted a study according to which almost half of Russian graduates believe that the pandemic and remote learning will not affect their final United State Exam (USE) scores, om1 reports.
According to the results of the survey, 43 per cent of Russian eleventh graders believe that distance learning will not affect the final exam scores in any way, 39 per cent are sure that it will negatively affect the USE results, and 18 per cent believe that it will even have a positive effect.
In particular, most of the respondents (63 per cent) hope that in 2021 they will be able to get from 80 to 100 points (out of 100 possible), 31 per cent expect to receive 60-80 points, 4 per cent said they can get 40-60 points, and only 2 per cent expect to get less than 40.
Schoolchildren also named the subjects in which they will pass exams. It turned out that almost half of the graduates are going to take Social Studies (45 per cent). Popular are also English (26 per cent) and Biology (20 per cent).
