A documentary film was released on the socially oriented YouTube channel ‘Secrets’, which is aimed at highlighting different points of view about the diagnosis of schizophrenia. Both people with this diagnosis and professionals who work with such patients took part in the creation of the video.
“We want people to get rid of prejudices and stereotypes about psychiatric diagnoses and how they are treated. Education is always an important part of solving any problem. Fear causes uncertainty in us. Knowledge conquers any fears,” the authors of the social project said.
In the film, people are trying to give an answer to the question of what schizophrenia is and how to live with it. People suffering from this disease talked about how they fought with the diagnosis and adapted to society.
