The St. Petersburg artist, the only one in the world who managed to take the highest awards at once in two competing American professional competitions – PSA and ASOPA, will personally present his works in Yekaterinburg.

They will be exhibited in the new “Steny” gallery on Mamin-Sibiryak St., 126. According to the art director of the gallery Marina Linker, the works of Nikolai Blokhin are extremely rarely exhibited in Russia, and collectors literally line up to purchase them. The exhibition has 44 paintings, many of which can be seen for the first time.
“Nikolai Blokhin can be called an exceptional artist. Being a graduate of the Repin St. Petersburg Art Academy, and later a teacher at alma mater, Blokhin is a pupil and representative of the Russian classical academic school of painting. In his works, he praises the Russian character: unusually strong, a little crazy, bright, lively. Despite world recognition and fame, Nikolai Blokhin is a man surprisingly modest and simple,” says Marina Linker.
For visitors, the gallery and exhibition (0+) will open on December 14th. Tickets cost 150 rubles, preferential tickets (schoolchildren, pensioners) 100 rubles. Preschoolers, large families, people with disabilities and conscripts can attend the exhibition for free. Work can be seen until February 12.
