Employees of the ‘Top-RF.ru‘ business information agency, based on data from the Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat), have compiled a rating of Russian regions in terms of housing commissioning per capita.
According to the results of the study, at the end of 2020, 2,375.9 thousand square metres of the total area of residential real estate were commissioned in the Leningrad Region, including houses erected on plots for gardening. Thus, the region was in first place in the ranking (1.254 square metres of housing per person).
The second line of the rating was taken by Sevastopol (640 thousand square metres of the total area of residential real estate, including 1.247 square metres of housing per person), and the third is occupied by the Kaliningrad region (1,173.3 thousand square metres of the total area of residential real estate, including 1.151 square metres of housing per person).
The top 10 also includes the Moscow region (8,720 k and 1.131), Lipetsk region (1,203.3 k and 1.067), Tyumen region (1,582 k and 1.026), Sakhalin region (435.7 k and 0.897), Ulyanovsk region (1,034.1 k and 0.848), Kaluga region (820.5 k and 0.820), and Krasnodar region (4,520.8 k and 0.795).
