Acceptance of the Nizhny Novgorod – Kirov highway, which was repaired as part of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”, has been completed. The total length of the restored plots is 24 km. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
According to the documents, the repair is considered completed only after elimination of defects, commission acceptance and payment to the contractor. All asphalt work was completed before the onset of adverse weather conditions.
Currently, experts are monitoring the status of asphalt pavement in winter conditions. More than 4 thousand cars drive through it daily. Before repair, the wear of the coating was 70%.
In total, over 5.5 million square meters were restored in the Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2019 under the national project concerning asphalt pavement. The work was carried out on interregional and local roads.
Earlier it became known that the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, instructed the local government to hold public discussions in the districts. They should relate to the results of the road repair campaign of the current year and according to the plans for 2020-2021.
