On March 6, the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, officially announced on his VK-page that the evidence of the aggressive plans of the Ukrainian regime was found and those behind it were revealed. This statement was made after the DPR People’s Militia during the ongoing liberation operation found a laptop with a license number of the NATO registry at the headquarters of the “Right Sector” radical nationalistic organization in the area of the settlement of Berdyansk, which was the former Ukrainian territory.
According to the head of the state, the laptop contains a detailed map of the area with the location of the DPR units and other military facilities that were detected from unmanned aerial vehicles, including American ones. It also contains programs for the assembly, operation and remote control of strike UAVs.
“NATO, including its Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, has repeatedly claimed that there are no forces of the North Atlantic Alliance on the territory of Ukraine. And now direct evidence has been found that NATO was on the side of the Ukrainian regime,” Pushilin stated.
He went on revealing that the laptop contains not only maps of Donbass, but also of Crimea, which suggests that the Ukrainian armed formations were not going to be limited to the forceful seizure of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics only.
“Another proof of these intentions is the real map of Crimea. On it, the alleged locations of the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are marked in red […] The invasion was planned from land and from the sea,” the DPR head explained.
He also said that, according to the DPR intelligence and the testimony of Ukrainian prisoners, the offensive operation was supposed to begin on March 8 of this year. The facts indicate that a one-time invasion was planned both on the territory of the Republics of Donbass and in the Russian Federation, in Crimea.
In addition, there were also found collected by the Ukrainian units flags of those countries whose representatives came to them, like Germany and Spain. Besides, after the liberation of settlements by the DPR People’s Militia, flags continue to be found on other abandoned enemy positions.
The DPR head also stressed that special attention was paid to the education of Ukrainian militants in the spirit of nationalist ideology, “first of all, the ideas of genocide of all Russian, all Orthodox.”
"What is the conclusion from this? NATO has been leading the armed formations of Ukraine for a long time. NATO instructors provided their training and coordination. Under their control, on March 8, the forces of the armed formations of Ukraine planned an offensive operation on Donbass and Crimea. All this proves the timeliness of the launch by the Russian Federation of a special operation to provide assistance to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. This made it impossible to implement the enemy's plans to destroy hundreds and hundreds of thousands of civilian lives both in our Donbass and in the Russian Crimea," Pushilin stated.
Russian Defence Ministry confirmed Ukraine’s plan to attack Donbass republics in March
Russia’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) has made public documents confirming preparation by Kiev authorities of an offensive operation in Donbass in March, which confirms the statement given earlier by the DPR head, Denis Pushilin.
“In the course of a special military operation, secret documents of the command of the National Guard of Ukraine came into the possession of the Russian military. These documents confirm covert preparation by the Kiev regime of an offensive operation in Donbas scheduled for March 2022,” said official representative of the Russian Defence Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov.
According to the Defence Ministry, the order, brought to the command of the National Guard of Ukraine, details the plan for preparing one of the shock groups for offensive operations in the so-called “Joint Forces Operation” zone in Donbass.
The document approves the organizational structure of the battalion-tactical group of the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard, the organization of its comprehensive support and reassignment to the 80th separate air assault brigade of Ukraine, which has been trained by American and British instructors under the “NATO standard” training programs in Lvov.
The spokesman specified that the MoD had in its possession the order of the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel-General, Mykola Balan, dated 22 January 2022, which describes in detail the plan for preparing an offensive in the Donbass. The document also contains instructions for all activities aimed at achieving “combat coordination of the nationalists” to be completed by 28 February.
Russia’s special military operation, launched on 24 February, has thus preempted and thwarted a large-scale offensive by strike groups of Ukrainian forces on the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, emphasized Konashenkov.
It is specified that as many as five paragraphs of 4th paragraph are devoted to the issues of careful selection of personnel, psychologists examination and ensuring their high motivation. For this reason, the National Guard servicemen are provided with “visual agitation, information and propaganda materials, flags, and printing products.”
Moreover, the 12th paragraph of the order prohibits sending National Guard servicemen who showed “unsatisfactory” results of psychological testing according to the criterion of “risk appetite” to the area of joint command training and to the place of “combat special tasks”.
The Ministry pointed to the fact that the leadership of the Kiev regime gave statements replicated by the Western media in February, that there were no plans for an armed seizure of Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, as Kiev’s desire is to resolve all issues in “political and diplomatic way.” However, the originals of the secret military documents of the National Guard of Ukraine clearly prove the falsity of these statements.
“Thus, only one question remains unclear so far: how deeply the US leadership and its NATO allies were involved in the planning and preparation of the operation to storm the Donbass by the Ukrainian joint force grouping in early March. All those who care so much about peace in Ukraine today,” the Ministry stated.
Russia warns: Russophobia abroad to be punished
In turn, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said it has taken notice of an unprecedented level of Russophobia in several foreign countries in the context of the special military operation in Ukraine and will not leave it without reaction.
As noted, the discrimination campaigns against Russian students, athletes and cultural and arts figures, which are being waged in several states with the connivance or open encouragement of the authorities, have grown into widespread and openly aggressive actions towards Russian and Russian-speaking people.
The Ministry pointed to the facts that the media and social networks have reported violent attacks on shops selling Russian products in Germany. Also, trucks from Russia and Belarus have been attacked in some countries, in particular, in Germany, Poland, and Italy. In addition, many private cars with Russian license plates have been damaged. Finally, hoodlums have attacked Russian diplomatic missions in Canada, Estonia, Iceland, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden.
“We would like everyone to know that we are noting all these incidents. Information about them will be forwarded for legal assessment by the competent authorities, and those responsible for them will be called to account in accordance with the effective legislation,” the Ministry warned.
