France is an unfriendly state due to its various anti-Russian actions, as stated by the Press Secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.
“France is an unfriendly country because of the actions that France is taking against our country,” Peskov said, answering a question about relations between Paris and Moscow.
As reminded, in the end of July, French president, Emmanuel Macron, expressed concern about the expansion of Russia’s diplomatic and military ties in Africa. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Moscow is spreading “false narratives” in the countries of the continent, as he claimed then.
Peskov promised to inform if the contact between Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and his French counterpart Macron takes place.
