“Currently, work is continuing with the servicemen of the Azov special purpose regiment, who carried out general coordination of actions on the territory of Mariupol. The identity of the commander of the South and East groups of troops, Lieutenant General Pavlyuk, who were given orders to block humanitarian corridors, has been established,” it is noted.

As the investigation found out, the defense headquarters under the command of the general ordered to destroy all those who moved through Mariupol, including women and children, even though they did not pose a threat to the Ukrainian military.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has assigned Pavlyuk the status of the accused, measures are being taken to search for him and arrest him.

As reminded, during the liberation of Mariupol, the Russian side opened humanitarian corridors both towards the DPR and towards the territories controlled by Kiev, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces disrupted their work and repeatedly fired at civilians who tried to leave the city.
