Russian Defence Minister, Sergei Shoigu, spoke on the air of the Zvezda TV channel about the importance of the information agenda. He pointed out that there is a fierce confrontation in this area in the world nowadays.
“Today it is not just the presentation of information in one form or another. This is a big, I’m not afraid of this word, war. The information war that is going on in all fronts, and we have no right to lose in this war,” the Minister explained.
Earlier, Shoigu said that the Russian Armed Forces are one of the most modern and effective in the world. He noted that they reliably ensure the security of the country and guard its interests. Shoigu also said that the level of modernization of the Russian nuclear triad is currently at the highest level in its history and stands at 89.1 per cent.
