Specialists of the OneTwoTrip travel planning service recorded a significant increase in the number of search requests for flights from Russia to Tunisia and Italy, RIA News reports.
This happened after the tourism ministers of these countries announced the possible opening of states for Russians. It is clarified that Russians searched for flights to Italy twice more often than before, and to Tunisia, one and a half times more.
It is noted that at the end of 2019, Italy ranked second among popular holiday destinations. However, the exact date of the opening of the Italian border for tourists from Russia has not yet been named. In turn, the Minister of Tourism of Tunisia announced the country’s readiness to receive Russian organized travellers from April 19, 2021, without going through quarantine. Entry will only require a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before the arrival.
