Russia Ranks Second in US Energy Supplies

In October 2019, Russia became the second-largest supplier of oil and petroleum products to the United States, according to the Energy Information Administration of the US Department of Energy. 

The ministry estimates that in October the United States purchased 20.9 million barrels of oil and oil products from Russia. Canada is in the lead, selling 136.5 million barrels to its neighbours. Closes the top three leaders  Mexico with 17 million barrels.

In November, Russia lost second place to Mexico, selling the United States 1.9 million barrels of oil and oil products less. Among the leaders in energy supplies to the United States is also Saudi Arabia. In October, the state sold Washington 13.7 million, in November – 10.6 million barrels.
