In September, the Russian Federation retained second place in the world in oil production, according to the information of the October report of OPEC and the Energy Information Administration of the US Department of Energy, TASS reports.
According to statistics, the United States is still in first place with the production of an average of 11.22 million barrels per day. Oil production in Russia, which occupied second place, in September 2020 amounted to 9.19 million barrels per day. The third place was taken by Saudi Arabia with its 8.982 million barrels per day.
According to forecasts, in 2021, the key drivers of production growth in non-OPEC countries will be the United States, Russia, Canada, Brazil, Norway, Ecuador, Qatar, Guyana, and India.
