The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said that Moscow is ready to establish good relations with London just as much as the British side is ready for this.
“We, in my opinion, have repeatedly and consistently stated (although these statements, of course, are drowned in those statements that we are forced to make, defending ourselves or disavowing aggressive British attacks), we have consistently repeatedly stated that our country is ready to establish relations exactly as much as the British side is ready for this,” she said.
As the grounds for this Zakharova mentioned mutual respect, mutual benefit, and a legal basis.
“Equality and mutual respect are an excellent basis for the development of our bilateral relations, ties and interaction,” Maria added.
