From September 21 Russia resumes international flights with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus. Later, from September 27, the border with South Korea will also be open, according to the Russian Operational Headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection. All flights will be operated once a week on a reciprocal basis.

It is also noted that the programme of export flights for Russians will be cancelled from September 21 in connection with the resumption of transport links between the states, as now Russians have the opportunity to return home by regular flights. However, as an alternative to export flights, it is planned to use aircraft returning to Russia after cargo and transit flights which are now operated by Aeroflot. It is specified that over the course of the programme, more than 580 export flights have been organized, carrying over 92 thousand passengers.
