The ‘Rosoboronexport’ company which is a part of the “Rostec” corporation, will present a new comprehensive anti-drone system at the IDEX International Defence Exhibition which will be held in the UAE from February 21 to 25, 2021, the company’s press service reported.
The company’s specialists will present at the exhibition a new system that can effectively resist the actions of unmanned aerial vehicles, combining electronic warfare and air defence systems of various classes. Exhibits will be the “Repellent-Patrol” electronic warfare complex, capable of suppressing UAVs at a distance of up to 20 km, as well as the “Kupol” and “Rubezh-Avtomatika” complexes, that conduct continuous monitoring and create a protective dome over the object capable of repelling attacks from different directions and heights within a radius of at least 3 km.
In addition, the “Pishchal” electromagnetic gun, one of the lightest samples available on the market, will be presented in the UAE. Its weight is about 3.5 kg, and the range of suppression of UAV control and navigation channels is 2 km. The company also offers short-range air defence systems, in particular, the “Pantsir-S1M” anti-aircraft missile-gun system and the “Tor”-type anti-aircraft missile system. It is noted that the “Pantsir-S1M” air defence missile system has missile and cannon armament and destroys air targets at a range of up to 30 km and up to 18 km in height.
