The Russian airline “Aurora” has resumed regular flights to China from Khabarovsk International Airport to the Chinese city of Harbin after a three-year break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is noted that flights to China will be carried out by the carrier once a week, on Mondays, in the period from February 6 to March 20, 2023, on an Airbus A319 aircraft with a capacity of 128 seats.
"8.35 pm Khabarovsk – 8.15 pm Harbin, 9.20 pm Harbin – 12.55 am Khabarovsk," the message specifies the schedule.
With the opening of this flight, Aurora Airlines offers residents of the Far Eastern Federal District direct access to business and tourist sites in China, without the need to transfer to the European part of Russia. Harbin city is also one of the most popular transit points for flights between Europe and Asia, the company notes.
Earlier in January, a large Chinese private airline, Hainan Airlines, launched direct flights from Russia to China. The carrier has also started operating flights from the Khabarovsk International Airport to Harbin.
