The UTair Russian airline will open regular flights to Tanzania on November 27, PRIME reports. Earlier, Azur Air announced that it will start operating charter flights to Zanzibar from October 31.
It is specified that from November 27, UTair introduces a regular flight Moscow – Zanzibar. The airline will fly this route once every 10 days on long-haul Boeing 767s. Travel time is 9 hours 15 minutes.
According to the president of Utair Passenger Airlines, Pavel Permyakov, after the authorities allowed flights to Tanzania, UTair immediately announced its intention to open regular flights with the island of Zanzibar. This is the only Russian company to operate regular flights on this route.
