An online concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will bring together famous Russian and British musicians, TASS reports.
“It’s important for us to hold a worthy action in the UK together with Rossotrudnichestvo and with the assistance of the Russian Embassy, dedicated to this significant date, even at times when public events are not possible,” the Head of the Ensemble Productions company, Olga Balakleets, said.
At the concert will perform such Russian singers as Larisa Dolina, Lev Leschenko, Oleg Gazmanov, Alexander Rosenbaum, Pelageya, and others. Among the British will be an actor Jeremy Irons, a former member of “Iron Maiden” Tony Moore, a tenor Russell Watson, and a keyboardist of the rock band “Yes” Rick Wakeman.
