According to the Aurus Sales Director, Artem Yusupov, the transfer of the first Aurus Senat cars will become possible after the launch of the serial production in Yelabuga in May 2021. Avilon clarified that the approximate cost of an armoured limousine will be 73 million rubles and a long version of the car will amount to 106.9 million rubles. Currently, the production of Aurus cars is carried out on the basis of its own facilities located in Moscow.

It is noted that the volumes of the production are limited, since it is organized according to the type of a modern manufactory, manually, according to individual measurements and with the highest quality. As previously reported, the implementation of the Aurus project at the plant in Yelabuga will increase the serial production of all Aurus models up to 5 thousand vehicles per year with a one-shift operation.

Currently, the Aurus company is completing the development of two more models, the Arsenal minivan and the Komendant SUV. According to preliminary data, the first should receive approval in the first half of 2021, and the certification of the second one is scheduled for the end of the year.

In addition, in March 2021, the Aurus brand presented a prototype motorcycle developed by the same manufacturer as part of the ‘Cortege’ project. The motorcycle is equipped with an electrical installation with a power of 140 kW. The acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds for the model. It is specified that the design of the motorcycle is made in the same style as the Senat sedan and the future Komendant crossover to fit perfectly together.
