The total cost of projects for which the largest investment company in Russia, VEB.RF, signed agreements at the Eastern Economic Forum amounted to about 770 billion rubles, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the company.

“Currently, VEB.RF is considering participating in the financing of 20 projects in the Far East and the Arctic Zone with a total volume of 1.8 trillion rubles, the estimated amount of financing from VEB is 0.6 trillion rubles,” the Deputy Chairman of VEB, Artem Dovlatov, said.
With the financial support of VEB.RF, 31 projects have been already implemented in the Far East with a total cost of 3.4 trillion rubles (VEB’s participation is 0.7 trillion rubles, and up to 15 thousand jobs have been created for the implemented projects). Special attention is paid to implementing projects that ensure qualitative changes in people’s lives, namely, creating new jobs, access to modern services, and improving the environment.
It is reminded that the VI Eastern Economic Forum was held in Vladivostok on September 2-4 in a hybrid format. With the help of the VEB.RF company, such deals were concluded at the EEF as the creation of infrastructure for recreation children in the Khabarovsk Territory, the expansion of opportunities for the supply of high-quality and inexpensive fish to the regions of Russia, and many other projects.
