Biathletes of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) team became silver medalists of the 4×6 km relay at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. Irina Kazakevich, Kristina Reztsova, Svetlana Mironova, and Ulyana Nigmatullina made a total of seven mistakes and earned one penalty lap.
The Swedish national team won gold, having overcome the distance in 1 hour 11 minutes 3.9 seconds with six misses and beat the Russians by 12 seconds. The German national team finished third and also had six inaccurate shots. The Germans were 37.4 seconds behind the winners.
At the moment, the Russian national team ranks ninth (4-8-12), as well as second in the total number of awards (24). The first three places are occupied by Norway (13-7-8), Germany (10-6-4), and the USA (8-7-4).
