The turnover of Russian companies in the first two months of 2021 amounted to 34.7 trillion rubles, which is 10 per cent more than in the same period in 2020, Izvestia reports, citing a study by the FinExpertiza international audit and consulting network.
It is stated that in January 2021, the revenue of Russian business exceeded the figures of January 2020 by almost 7 per cent and amounted to 16.7 trillion rubles. It is clarified that the study took into account large, medium, and small commercial organizations, except individual entrepreneurs. In February 2021, their turnover increased by 13 per cent, to 18 trillion rubles.
According to experts, in 71 out of 85 regions of Russia, there is a revival of business activity. Dagestan took the first place in terms of dynamics, where enterprises increased their turnover by 66 per cent, to 159 billion rubles. The second place belongs to the Republic of Altai, where an increase of 31 per cent was recorded, up to 18 billion rubles. The Tambov region closed the top three with an increase in the revenue of commercial organizations by almost 30 per cent, to 124 billion rubles.
