“Here is the design of our expeditionary emblem, created by designer Alexei Tarapata and Maezawa’s team,” Misurkin wrote in his VKontakte group.

The emblem depicts the Soyuz MS-20 manned spacecraft against the background of the Earth, as well as an eagle with spread wings. It is noted that in the previous flight, there was also an image of this bird, as it reminds the cosmonaut of the city of Oryol where he grew up. The emblem also features the flag of Japan which symbolizes the country of the two tourists and lists the names of all crew members.

It is reminded that the launch of the Soyuz MS-20 manned spacecraft with two space tourists is scheduled for December 8, 2021. The flight duration will be 12 days. The three-month preparation for the flight at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre is already underway.
