Over the past three years, Russian manufacturers have increased the supply of an electronic component base (ECB) for the space industry by 2.5 times, TASS reported with reference to the general director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
“Over the past three years, our industry has increased the supply of space ECB for our industry by 2.5 times,” Rogozin said.
He noted that in 2025 Roskosmos is completing a programme of import substitution of all elements for a new generation of GLONASS.
“This does not mean that we will completely do everything further, because even the United States is not doing anything completely. There is natural normal international cooperation in such complex issues as the production of radio-micro-electronics, especially for space purposes. This is a radiation-resistant special microelectronics,” Rogozin explained.
