The rise in domestic tourism in Russia has provoked an increase in demand for gasoline this summer, RIA News reports with reference to the research data provided by the Russian Standard Bank.
According to the analysts, the need to travel a lot by car forced Russians to think about saving money. In particular, the AI-95 gasoline in 2020 lost its leadership to the more affordable AI-92. It is specified that AI-92 gasoline was bought 60 per cent more often than in 2019. At the same time, the number of purchases of the AI-95 almost did not change.
