Russian Employers Divided Opinions: How to Treat Workers Solving Personal Issues at Work?

Every second Russian employer believes that the productivity of employees increases if they are able to devote part of their working time to solve personal issues. Nine years ago, only 6 out of 10 company representatives expressed such an opinion, according to specialists from the SuperJob job search service. 

Experts note that 14 per cent of employers in Russia are absolutely confident in increasing the productivity of employees who have the opportunity to devote part of their working time to solve personal issues and 37 per cent are more likely to be confident in this, while 38 per cent are more likely to be against the idea and 11 per cent totally disagree with this.

Among the representatives of the economically active population, one in five (20 per cent) fully agrees with the statement about increasing the productivity of employees who devote part of their time to personal issues, one in three (33 per cent) rather agree, another 33 per cent rather disagree, and 14 per cent totally disagree with the idea claiming that company employees should control the time they spend on personal issues.
