The Head of Sberbank, German Gref, said that by the end of 2020, the Russian ruble may strengthen to the level of 60–62 rubles per dollar, TASS reports. The expert noted that the Russian ruble is closely linked to the price of oil, so the Russian national currency is quite difficult to predict.
Gref said that according to one of the analysts whom he trusts, at the end of the year the oil will be 60–62 dollars per barrel. So, the ruble will be approximately 60 to a dollar. He believes that no one can say with certainty how the situation with the coronavirus will develop, but if the second wave happens, the ruble will probably fluctuate.
