The research centre of the Superjob.ru portal for job search from October 20 to November 16, 2020, conducted a study among residents of Russia living in cities with a population of more than 500,000 people.
According to the results of the study, Tyumen occupied the first place in Russia in terms of the quality of urban roads, Kazan took second, and Moscow closed the top three. The worst roads were found in Novosibirsk, Ryazan, and Irkutsk.
It is indicated that a total of 86 per cent of the townspeople assessed the condition of the Tyumen roads as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’. On average, the quality of local roads is estimated at 4.18 points out of 5.
Kazan took second place because the roads are estimated at 3.73 points there. Moscow is in third place in terms of road conditions, with an average score of 3.66 out of 5; it is specified that 59% of the city residents gave the local roads ‘good’ and ‘excellent’ marks.
